Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)

In accordance with the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the City of Freeport does not discriminate against individuals with disabilities.  The ADA (Title II, 28 CFR Part 35, and Title III, 28 CFR Part 36) prohibits discrimination on the basis of disability in employment, State and local government, public accommodations, commercial facilities, transportation, and telecommunications.  Access to all federally funded activities to all individuals, regardless of handicap, in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
